Fill in the Blank: “If There Is a Sin Against Life, It Lies in ____.”

http://ift.tt/2g0m50f

"...If there is a sin against life, it lies perhaps less in despairing of it than in hoping for another life, and evading the implacable grandeur of the one we have."

--Albert Camus, "Summer in Algiers" in The Myth of Sisyphus and Other Essays

If you had to fill in the blank about the greatest "sin against life," what would you say?

For me, I think I'd answer, "If there is a sin against life, it lies perhaps in failing to search for and recognize the truth about ourselves."
