In addition to a long list of volunteer and civic involvements, she has assumed important responsibilities in planning and implementing the Senior Resource Fair over recent years.

The Advocates for Dixon Seniors is a group of citizens who meet monthly at the Dixon Senior Center to discuss all issues related to the well-being of seniors.

The mission of the Advocates is to foster a safe, sustainable, healthy and stimulating environment for all Dixon’s seniors, and involve them in all aspects of planning.

Those who want to join the group can attend the meetings at 1 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month.
